Wild Blog: Back On The Bandwagon?Alright Wild fans, are you back on the bandwagon yet? I, of course, never got off. But was last night's win enough to get you back to believing in this team? It was enough for WCCO-TV reporter Rachel Slavik, who sent me the following text after last night's game:
Wild Goalie Keumper Back In The Playoff SpotlightDarcy Keumper is used to this roller coaster ride. It's the advantage to starting the season in obscurity, then playing your way to the NHL. "I think it's probably even more important in the playoffs to keep a level head and kind of shuffle out the outside noise," Keumper said. Don't worry about that too much."
Kuemper Lives Out Childhood Dream In Wild Goalie NetZach Parise said it's 50-50 if he can come back by Thursday night against Chicago. Meanwhile, the team continues to ask Darcy Keumper to try and keep the gate closed at goalie. So far, it's been a welcomed challenge.
Despite Injury And Illness, The Wild Are Finding Confidence Josh Harding and Zach Parise are working on getting in game shape as the Wild are working on winning their sixth in seven games with Ottawa in town. Harding is making progress, hoping to be back soon. However, he’s not getting specific about his illness issues. He has multiple sclerosis.
