Minneapolis Police say the death of a man once ruled “suspicious” in nature has now been determined to be accidental. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office concluded their investigation on Wednesday into the death of a man found on the 1600 block of South Sixth Street.

Eagan Woman, 66, Sentenced In Child’s Day Care Death

An Eagan day care provider has been sentenced in the death of 3-month-old child. On Thursday, Beverly Anne Greenagel of Eagan was sentenced to 45 days in jail and 10 years of probation in connection with the death of Dane Joseph Ablidinger while she was in Greenagel’s care at her home day care facility.

‘Threshold Choir’ Performs Songs Of Comfort For People Near The End

What would your soundtrack be at the end? The pain and sorrow that comes with the end of a life can be too much to handle at times. But a group of singers in the Twin Cities get together for that very purpose. The Morning Star Singers are what is known as a “threshold choir,” a group of singers that literally comfort someone who’s on his or her deathbed. Group founder Barbara McAfee says they sing for people in poor health, people who are depressed and those who are nearing the end of life.

Grieving Parents Seek To Memorialize Daughter With Playground

One Twin Cities community is rallying around a local family to help them cope with the death of their child. Tony and Sarah Zahradka lost their 18-month-old daughter, Janie, two months ago. Her passing is called Sudden Unexplained Death in a Child, or SUDC, which is 54-times rarer than SIDS. Sometimes loss is so painful that moving on seems impossible. “She was just kind of taken for no reason. It’s kind of hard to deal with,” Tony said.
