Vikings Defense Tries To Regroup Against Bears

The Minnesota Vikings defense has two pieces of good news this week coming off a humbling loss at Detroit in the season opener. First, they expect defensive captain Kevin Williams to be back at defensive tackle after missing the 34-24 loss to the Lions with a knee injury. Second, they don’t have to face Reggie Bush, the Lions running back who torched them for 191 total yards and a touchdown.

Ndamukong Suh might’ve gotten himself in trouble with another nasty play on the field. Suh’s illegal low block in Detroit’s game on Sunday against Minnesota will be reviewed for potential discipline, NFL spokesman Randall Liu confirmed Monday in an email to The Associated Press.

Kevin Williams Misses Another Practice For The Minnesota Vikings

Defensive tackle Kevin Williams was the only Minnesota Vikings to miss practice Thursday. Safety Harrison Smith and McLeod Bethel-Thompson were the only players to have their practice status change from Wednesday to Thursday. Three players were full participants both days despite injuries and five were limited both days.

The Minnesota Vikings claimed former Chicago Bears offensive tackle J’Marcus Webb and released Troy Kropog Sunday. The Future Looks Bright For The Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings had a disappointing finish to an encouraging season. Jared Allen will undergo surgery on his shoulder after the Pro Bowl later this month. The Vikings now begin preparation for the draft in April and evaluating its 14 free agents.
