A 43-year-old man arrested last October in North Dakota in connection with a fatal shooting at a south Minneapolis bar in August of 2013 pleaded guilty Tuesday to murder charges. A 24-year-old Brooklyn Center man is charged with second-degree murder in connection to a fatal shooting in north Minneapolis over the weekend, the Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman announced.
Three separate shooting incidents in Minneapolis leave two dead and four others wounded early Saturday morning, according to Minneapolis Police. The first shooting happened just after midnight at a residence on the 3400 block of Dupont Avenue North. When police arrived, they found the victim had already died. Two other men were also wounded but are expected to survive. An adult male has been taken into custody for this shooting. The male was one of the two men taken to the hospital.

The wife of a man accused of killing his neighbor in New Brighton, Minn. now faces criminal charges, according to the Ramsey County Attorney’s office. Paula Zumberge, 50, was charged Thursday with one count of aiding and abetting second-degree murder and one count of aiding and abetting second-degree attempted murder.
Authorities are looking for a suspect after a man was shot to death in Minneapolis early Thursday morning, according to police. The shooting happened at about 12:45 a.m. at a residence on the 1100 block of James Avenue North. Authorities found 48-year-old Kenneth Dewayne Wesson dead at the scene with several gunshot wounds.

A Hennepin County grand jury has cleared two Minnetonka Police officers of any wrongdoing in the fatal shooting of a 27-year-old man in October of last year, according to Minnetonka city officials. Officers James Comings and Ryan Smith shot Michael Tray several times in the underground parking garage of the Claremont Apartments in Minnetonka on the evening of Oct. 23, 2013. Police were initially called on a report of a man with a gun near the apartments. When the officers arrived, they found Tray in the parking garage. Shots were fired, and Tray was killed.
The 20-year-old man who was shot in the chest behind a strip mall in Sartell Thursday morning has died, according to Sartell Police. Maurice Galvin Jr. of St. Cloud passed away at about 7:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Cloud Hospital. On Friday morning, 23-year-old Demetreus Anthony McGinnis was formally charged with second-degree murder.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man who was found shot in North Minneapolis and later died over the weekend. Authorities say the incident happened around 11:40 p.m. Saturday at a home on the 1800 block of Hillside Avenue.
