State Trooper Charged With Driving 94 In 55 Zone

A Minnesota State Trooper has been charged with excessive speeding after he was caught driving 94 mph in a 55 mph zone, according to Minnesota State Patrol. The Fergus Falls City Attorney has cited Sergeant Jesse Grabow for excessive speeding.

State Patrol: Alcohol A Factor In Fatal Marshall Co. Crash

The Minnesota State Patrol says alcohol played a factor in a fatal head-on crash Saturday afternoon. Twenty-five-year-old Cory Ingeman, of Karlstad, crossed the center lane in his pickup truck, colliding head-on with a van on Highway 1 in Marshall County at about 12:42 p.m.

State Patrol Seeks Semi-Truck Driver In Crash That Killed 2 Teens

The Minnesota State Patrol is looking for the driver of a semi-truck after a crash on Interstate 94 near Fergus Falls killed two teenagers and injured two others. Authorities said the crash happened Tuesday morning on eastbound I-94 near Dalton in northwestern Minnesota.

California Man Drowns In Northwestern Minnesota Lake

Authorities say they’ve recovered the body of a California man who fell out of a boat and drowned on Jewett Lake near Fergus Falls in northwestern Minnesota. Lt. Barry Fitzgibbons of the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s office says family members heard the victim yelling for help around 10 p.m. Friday but were unable to reach him before he went under.

Dalton Man Dies After Being Pulled From Lake

Otter Tail County authorities say a Dalton man has died after being pulled from Tenmile Lake in northwestern Minnesota. A statement from the sheriff’s office says family members found 62-year-old Douglas Koch in the lake near the dock of his property just before 9 p.m. Saturday. He was non-responsive and not breathing.
