Gopher Hockey Player Suspended After DWI

An incoming University of Minnesota freshman hockey player has been indefinitely suspended after a DWI arrest Saturday. Gabe Guertier, 18, was pulled over by University Police early Saturday morning. He was detained at the Hennepin County Jail for several hours after being charged with fourth-degree DWI. Gopher mens hockey coach Don Lucia announced Sunday that Guertier would be suspended indefinitely for violation of team rules. His suspension will be re-evaluated in November.

Ex-NFL QB Culpepper Loses Fla. Home In Foreclosure

Former NFL quarterback Daunte Culpepper has lost a South Florida home he owned to a bank in a foreclosure case. Broward County court records show the 9,867-square-foot home was surrendered in April to SunTrust Bank in lieu of foreclosure. The bank dropped its lawsuit against Culpepper earlier this month.

Twins Minor League Team Involved In Fla. Crash

A bus carrying a minor league team affiliated with the Minnesota Twins was involved in a wrong-way interstate crash in Florida that killed the driver of the other car. Florida Highway Patrol Sgt. Dylan Bryan says no one on the Fort Myers Twins bus was injured in the crash that occurred about 4:25 a.m. Tuesday near Jacksonville.
