Pretty soon Minnesota will be abundant with fall colors. And now, one Minnesota town has just been named one of the best places in the country to see them. Travel and Leisure Magazine ranked Stillwater, Minn. as the number three best town to see fall colors.
The City of St. Paul is putting out a call to residents to water their trees due to the very dry conditions. The continued dry weather is stressful on trees and can lead to weakened conditions, making them more susceptible to illness, disease, and death.
The first frost of the season goes a long way towards closing the book on summer. So, with a new season coming, we’re already thinking about fall foliage. But, why do leaves change color? Good Question.
