Police: 14-Year-Old Beaten With A Lock, Tased By Group Of Teen Girls

A 14-year-old girl was allegedly assaulted in Folwell Park in Minneapolis by a group of teenagers around 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 2. According to Minneapolis Parks and Recreation, the teen, who is a Teen Teamworks employee, was surrounded by a group of approximately 15 teenage girls. The main aggressor then allegedly began hitting the victim with a lock.

Park Shooter Gets 1 Year In Jail, Probation

A man who fired numerous gunshots in a Minneapolis park where children were playing has been sentenced to a year in jail and eight years of probation. The sentence by Hennepin County District Court Judge William Koch for August Fleming has disappointed county Attorney Mike Freeman who asked for a longer sentence than the mandatory five years in prison.
