Food Truck Fair
The third annual Food Truck Fair was held in Minneapolis’ Uptown neighborhood Sunday. The festival opened at 11 a.m., and many people from around the metro, and state, flocked to Lake Street and Hennepin Street for a taste of the food trucks.
If you’re headed to the second-annual Food Truck Fair in Uptown this weekend, you find 29 food trucks all with unique menus. Each will offer up a little something for everyone, even multi-cultural and sustainable foods like those offered at AZ Canteen. This food truck has a famous owner.
You see them parked in both Downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul at lunchtime. But this weekend you can find Food Trucks in Uptown at the second-annual Food Truck Fair. It’ll include Stanley’s on Wheels out of northeast Minneapolis.
Food trucks have a lot to offer: Everything from street food to comfort food. Bloomy’s Roast Beef offers up blue plate specials with names like the “Jessica” or a “George Michael.” They’re just one of 29 food trucks at this year’s second annual food truck fair in Uptown.
The second annual Food Truck Fair is moving locations and adding new trucks. Officials said 29 food trucks will take up two blocks in Uptown, instead of the Warehouse District in downtown Minneapolis. That’s double last year’s number of trucks from last year.
It was meant to be a day full of food and fun, but the inaugural Minneapolis “Food Truck Fair” made quite a few people upset.
Food trucks are winning over the hearts and stomachs of many in the Twin Cities.
