A 20-year-old South Dakota man was killed Tuesday in a head-on crash on Interstate 35 in southern Minnesota, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. Authorities responded to the crash at about 6 p.m. On I-35 near mile marker 18 in Freeborn County.
Police in Albert Lea said Wednesday they’ve arrested a man suspected in a weekend burglary after he was in a car involved in a gas drive-off on Tuesday.
The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office was called at about 5:51 p.m. Saturday on a report that a person had died. The man was found on the northwest corner near a dam on Pickeral Lake. Authorities said the family of the man led them to his body.
