Gang Member Charged With Murders Of Innocent Bystanders In Mpls. Shooting

A Bloomington man faces eight criminal charges in connection to the gang-related shooting deaths of two men in a Minneapolis park in July. The Hennepin County Attorney’s Office says 23-year-old Antonio Frasion Jenkins Jr., who goes by the nickname “Popeye,” fatally shot 24-year-old Abdirahman Jined and 20-year-old Jorge Zavaleta-Martinez in the Peace Garden section of Peavey Park on the night of July 25.

17-Year-Old Charged In Deadly St. Paul Shooting

A teenager has been charged with second-degree murder in the shooting death of a 17-year-old in St. Paul last week. Kelvin Donald Nickles, 17, also faces one criminal count of crime benefiting a gang.
