Black Women Have Higher Death Rate From Breast Cancer

Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among African American women and it is proving deadly. Although black women are diagnosed less frequently than white women, black women have a higher death rate.

Police Investigating 4 Recent Group Muggings In Downtown Mpls.

Police say a group of three to five black males have been targeting those walking alone – day or night – in downtown Minneapolis, and robbing them of their wallets, purses and or cell phones. Minneapolis police said four muggings have taken place between Aug. 12 and Aug. 19. The suspects are in their late teens, or early 20s. They target lone individuals and some victims have been pushed or punched.
