Fans of home-brewed beer from across the state met in Minneapolis on Sunday for beers and brewing advice. The American Homebrewers Association hosts a series of these rallies nationwide. Sunday’s event took place at Surly Brewing Company.
On Thanksgiving Day 2011, Dave Okar decided he needed to start documenting Minnesota’s craft beer movement. “I just went out and started doing it,” Okar said. “After I got some material, it became clear that you should make a film about it.”
About the only thing Kevin Flynn enjoys more than drinking his home-brewed beer is sharing it with fellow beer club members at festivals and tasting competitions.
