A man suspected of driving under the influence took police on a half-hour, multi-city chase early Saturday morning, according to the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office. A deputy attempted to pull over a 26-year-old driver at about 3 a.m. near Interstate 94 and Hemlock Lane in Maple Grove.
An overturned tanker spilled approximately 100 gallons of milk on Interstate 94 E in Minneapolis Wednesday afternoon, according to the State Patrol. Authorities say a tanker rolled over at the bottom of the exit ramp to southbound I-35W at about 2:40 p.m.
A couple towing a boat to northern Minnesota got a surprise visitor: a bald eagle crashed through the shrink wrap while they were traveling on Interstate 94 in Wisconsin. Four people are injured, including one with serious injuries, after a roll-over crash on Interstate 94 in Minneapolis Saturday morning. The accident happened at about 7 a.m. on westbound I-94 at the Cedar Avenue exit ramp, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. The driver, 27-year-old Juan Diaz-Pliego of Minneapolis, tried to exit at Cedar Avenue but lost control, drove up an embankment and rolled over, coming to rest in a ditch under a guardrail.
State officials say Amy Senser, who’s serving time for a fatal hit and run, will be released nearly six months early from prison. The Department of Corrections says Senser applied for a transfer to a jail or halfway house for work release, and it was approved. Senser is the wife of former Minnesota Vikings player Joe Senser. A 30-year-old Amery, Wis. man was arrested Sunday morning for operating a vehicle under the influence with a child in the vehicle, according to police.

Two men sit in the Sherburne County Jail charged with a brutal Elk River home invasion. But the biggest threat came as 40-year-old Aaron Martin and 31-year-old Ryan Woehler sent police on a high-speed chase, going the wrong way on Interstate 94 near Rogers last Thursday. Dozens of motorists and law enforcement officers were put at risk as the pursuit continued for nearly two miles. Authorities believed that the men had a kidnapping victim with them.
