A Shorewood woman stopped her trial when she pleaded guilty to murdering her boyfriend and stuffing him in a freezer, the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office announced Monday. Jetaun Wheeler’s trial was entering the fourth day when she pleaded guilty to second-degree unintentional murder in the death of 58-year-old Eddie Frank Sole.
A Duluth woman is accused of helping a friend dispose of her boyfriend’s body in a freezer in the western Twin Cities. Hennepin County prosecutors have charged 30-year-old Talisha Hunt with one felony count of being an accomplice after the fact.
Authorities said the children of Jetaun Wheeler, accused of killing her boyfriend and hiding his body in the freezer of a Shorewood home, have been found safe. South Lake Minnetonka Police said Tuesday the children have been placed in protective custody through Hennepin County Child Protection.
