Team Grades: Minnesota Vikings Lay Egg In Home Opener

The Minnesota Vikings were blown out by the New England Patriots 30-7 Sunday in the team’s home opener at TCF Bank Stadium. The Vikings scored first, but surrendered 30 straight points to lose. There is nothing positive to say about the game. Every aspect of the game was bad for the Vikings.

The Minnesota Vikings face the New England Patriots in their home opener of 2014. The Patriots are coming off a disappointing loss to the Miami Dolphins in Week 1. The Patriots had a double digit lead at half time, but were held scoreless in the second half and lost by double digits. The Patriots offense is led by quarterback Tom Brady. Darrelle Revis had a solid game in his Patriots debut in Miami.
