The Minnesota Vikings announced Friday that rookie Cordarrelle Patterson has been selected to the Pro Bowl. Patterson was selected to the roster as a return specialist, replacing Antonio Brown of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Brown was also voted to the Pro Bowl as a wide receiver.
Despite losing 44-31 to the Green Bay Packers Sunday night, the Vikings earned a weekly honor handed out by the NFL on Wednesday. Kick Returner Cordarrelle Patterson was named the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week after opening the game with a 109-yard return for a touchdown.
