Sheriff: Woman Drowned In Owatonna LakeAuthorities said a woman is dead after drowning in an Owatonna Lake Sunday night. The Steele County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a possible drowning at Lake Kohlmier Beach at about 4:54 p.m. Sunday. When authorities arrived, an unidentified Hispanic female was reported being face down in the water.
