The City of Minneapolis is warning Twin Cities residents and visitors that the downtown area could be extra busy on Thursday and Friday evenings over concurrent concerts and Twins games. The city informed visitors to the downtown area that they should plan ahead for the rush.

The Recording Academy announced Wednesday that LL Cool J is set to host the 54th Annual Grammy Awards on Feb. 12. LL Cool J, who has hosted “The Grammy Nominations Concert Live!” since its inception in 2008, will be the first official host of the show in seven years.
