The federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited a lumber and shingle manufacturer for safety violations that resulted in the death of a worker at its plant in Superior.
Police say a 30-year-old man has been killed at a wood shingle manufacturer in Superior. First responders were called to White Cedar Shingles and Lumber Company at about 7 p.m. Tuesday in a building south of the coal piles off St. Louis Bay. They found David Clink unresponsive with his arm or clothing caught in a conveyor belt system.
Aerospace and defense manufacturer Alliant Techsystems Inc. plans to move its headquarters from Minneapolis to Arlington, Va., on Oct. 1.
