Metropolitan Mosquito Control
This cold and rainy weather may be reminiscent of autumn, but it is time to think about mosquitoes. It is the time of year when most cases of West Nile Virus are reported. The Minnesota Department of Health says West Nile was found in four Minnesotans who donated blood over the summer.
West Nile Virus is back in Minnesota. The Metropolitan Mosquito Control says a mosquito sample collected in Scott County tested positive for the virus this week. So far, there are no human cases of the virus in the state.
We probably don’t even have to remind you, but we are in peak mosquito season. While some seem almost immune to bites, others claim to be magnets for mosquitoes.
