Missing Beltrami Man Found Dead
A Beltrami County man who had been missing since Aug. 14 has been found dead of an apparent suicide. According to Beltrami County Sheriff Phil Hodapp, 19-year-old Darren Chock was found dead on Saturday morning near the search area set up to find him.

Darryl Phillip Ekstrom, 67, was last seen at around 4 p.m. Tuesday riding a white bicycle near his residence. Police responded to the 6000 block of Medicine Lake Road at about 9 p.m. on a report that he was missing.
Boater Missing In Forest Lake
A man is missing after his pontoon boat and dog were found on Forest Lake on Monday. According to the Forest Lake Police Department, police were notified around 3:45 p.m. on Monday afternoon after someone found a dog swimming alone and an unoccupied pontoon boat near the 6800 block of North Shore Trail on the shoreline. The boat was adrift for an unknown amount of time.
Centerville Lake Drowning Victim ID’d
A 31-year-old man’a body was recovered from Centerville Lake on Monday afternoon. Thai Vang was last seen trying to swim through weeds after his canoe capsized on Sunday.
Update: Missing Teen Found Safe
A missing teenage boy who was last seen in Rogers has been found safe. Christian Tveit, 15, is a high-functioning teen with autism and health concerns. He was last seen leaving his residence on the 13000 block of Commerce Blvd.
