Police: Montevideo Man Uses Twin Brother’s ID For Loan

A Montevideo man is accused of using his twin brother’s ID in an attempt to get a bank loan, according to police. Police say Robert Macziewski, 69 of Montevideo, has been charged with felony identity theft in connection with the case.

2 Cited After Pit Bull Puppies Rescued In Montevideo

Montevideo police rescued eight puppies Tuesday and cited two people for animal abuse. Police responded to a report of animal abuse and found eight pit bull puppies crowded into one small kennel — all in poor health.

Charges: Montevideo Man Left Child In Car To Drink At Bar

A 27-year-old Montevideo man is accused of drinking at a bar earlier this month while leaving a small child inside a vehicle sleeping with the car running, according to police. Montevideo police said Christopher Jasperson was charged with child endangerment in connection with the case.

Death Investigation Underway In Montevideo

On Christmas Day, authorities investigated the death of a 64-year-old man in west-central Minnesota. The Montevideo Police Department said it and the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are investigating the suspicious death of Thomas Dickson.
