Montevideo Cop Back To Work After Crash With High Driver

A Montevideo Police officer is back to work after getting hit last week by a driver who admitted to being high on marijuana. Officer Kelly Robinson was off duty and was returning home from buying a camper for his family when a vehicle did not yield and pulled out in front of him.

2 Cited After Pit Bull Puppies Rescued In Montevideo

Montevideo police rescued eight puppies Tuesday and cited two people for animal abuse. Police responded to a report of animal abuse and found eight pit bull puppies crowded into one small kennel — all in poor health.

Montevideo Man’s Death Ruled As Homicide

The death of a 64-year-old Montevideo man has officially been ruled a homicide by the Ramsey County Medical Examiner on Saturday. Thomas Dickson was found dead Monday evening in his apartment on the 100 block of west Canyon Avenue. His death was initially described by police as “suspicious.” Police say the public is not at risk. Anyone with information is asked to contact Montevideo Police at 320-269-8808.

Police: Man Stabbed Co-Worker 30 Times In Murder

A 24-year-old man is in custody after a woman was reportedly stabbed to death at a Pizza Ranch Restaurant in Montevideo Friday night, according to police.
