Fatal motorcycle accidents on Minnesota roads are up 56 percent for 2015 thus far, according to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. Officials said there have been 25 deaths so far this year. At this time in 2014 there were 16 fatalities.
More motorcyclists have died this year on Minnesota roads compared to last year at this time, according to officials with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. Officials said 26 riders have lost their lives in 2013. There were 18 motorcycle deaths at this time last year.
Forty-seven motorcycle deaths so far this year has the Minnesota Department of Public Safety calling for more awareness and training. For 2011, motorcycle deaths totaled 42.
