It seems Minneapolis’ oldest bar may have closed its doors for good. On Tuesday, would-be customers and passersby noticed that Pracna on Main was closed. The bar and restaurant was built in 1890 and sat along the cobblestones of the city’s oldest street.
Luckily for us here in the Twin Cities, there is but one festival that celebrates and revels in all things eastern European. They serve potato and cheese pierogis, stuffed cabbage rolls with a tomato cream sauce, deserts and oh yes, sausages.
