North Star College Cup
The University of Minnesota men’s hockey program announced its 15-game non-conference schedule for the 2015-16 season on Tuesday. The schedule will include eight non-conference games against in-state rivals, including the third-annual North Star College Cup.

Adam Wilcox made 38 saves in net as the No. 1-ranked Gophers hockey team beat No. 5-ranked St. Cloud State 4-1 Friday night in the North Star College Cup at Xcel Energy Center. Minnesota improved to 18-2-3 with the win and advanced to Saturday night’s championship game of the all-Minnesota tournament.
The University of Minnesota men’s hockey program released its television schedule Monday for the upcoming 2013-14 season, and 31 of its 36 regular season games will have a broadcast. It will be the first year for the Gophers and coach Don Lucia in the newly-formed Big Ten Conference.
