Wisconsin authorities say two friends were flying a recently purchased airplane to Alaska when it crashed, killing the pilot’s father. Clark County Sheriff Greg Herrick released the names of the three people involved in Monday’s crash in central Wisconsin.
A small plane bound for Minnesota crashed in central Wisconsin Monday morning, injuring two and killing one.
A University of Wisconsin-Stout student found dead in January had a mix of drugs and alcohol in her system, according to the Menomonie Police Department. Jesse Jensen, 23, was found dead in her bedroom on Jan. 22. Jensen, from Owen, Wis., was a senior at the school. Toxicology tests indicate Jensen had a blood-alcohol level of 0.16 at the time of her death, and had morphine and oxycodone in her system.
