Local rapper P.O.S. is doing well and feels like a “new dude” after a recent kidney transplant, according to Doomtree’s Lazerbeak. About a year and half ago, P.O.S. – or Stefon Alexander – went public with his need for a new kidney.
After consuming some creative – and sometimes downright ridiculous – foods-on-a-stick, satisfy for ears this Friday with some great local music.
An outdoor music concert will be held Tuesday evening at St. Paul’s Ecolab Plaza to celebrate Governor Mark Dayton’s signing of the Freedom to Marry Bill. The “Love is Law” concert will start around 6 p.m., beginning with a procession from the Capitol lawn to downtown St. Paul – led by the Minnesota Freedom Band.
While P.O.S. will perform his First Avenue show on Oct. 26, he will cancel the remainder of his fall tour due to his failing kidneys.
