Patty Kazmaier Award
The University of Minnesota announced Thursday that three players on the women’s hockey team have been named finalists for the Patty Kazmaier Award. It goes every year to the top player in women’s college hockey.
Minnesota sophomore forward Hannah Brandt is among three finalists for the 2014 Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award. Brandt joins Clarkson senior forward Jamie Lee Rattray and Cornell junior forward Jillian Saulnier as finalists for the top honor in college women’s hockey. Brandt leads the nation in points (61), assists (40) and assists per game (1.11).
A junior forward with the University of Minnesota women’s hockey team was honored with the 2013 Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award on Saturday.
When the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award is given out in two weeks, Minnesota is guaranteed the winner.
