‘Saved By The Bell’ Actor Pleads Not Guilty In Bar Fight

The actor who played Screech in the 1990s TV show “Saved by the Bell” has pleaded not guilty to charges resulting from a bar fight in southeastern Wisconsin. Dustin Diamond and his fiancee, Amanda Schutz, appeared in Ozaukee County Circuit Court Thursday morning on charges stemming from Christmas Day scuffle at a bar in Port Washington.

The actor who played Screech on the 1990s TV series “Saved by the Bell” is expected to appear in a Wisconsin courtroom for a hearing on whether a stabbing case against him will proceed.

Dustin Diamond, TV’s ‘Screech,’ Charged In Wis. Bar Stabbing

The actor famous for playing Samuel “Screech” Powers on the 90s TV series “Saved By The Bell” was arrested Friday in Wisconsin. According to the Ozaukee Country Sheriff’s Office, 37-year-old Dustin Diamond was arrested and charged with first-degree recklessly endangering safety,
possession of a switchblade knife and carrying a concealed weapon.
