Caroline Lowe has been at WCCO-TV for 35 years, but she recently announced she’s leaving Minnesota for a new TV job in California. It’s a perfect chance for her to restage her comeback with a total makeover.
Today, Caroline Lowe announced she was leaving WCCO-TV. She will be joining what some call “WCCO West,” with WCCO alumni anchors Jeanette Trompeter, John Reger, her own daughter, producer Shelby Rhodes and General Manager Kathleen Sullivan.
Long-time WCCO-TV reporter, Caroline Lowe, has accepted a job at KSBY-TV in San Luis Obispo, Calif. Lowe has been on the crime beat for WCCO-TV since 1977. This year marked her 35th year with the station.
It’s been one year since WCCO-TV reporter Darcy Pohland died from a bleeding stomach ulcer. Her presence is missed in the newsroom.
