Two Minneapolis women were sentenced Wednesday in federal court for stealing more than $1 million from the ING life insurance company.

Minn. Bank Robber To Repay Bank, County

The owners of Elysian State Bank claimed they were owed $7,800 as a result of Sandra Bathke’s robbery last December. But Bathke’s attorney and an assistant Le Sueur County attorney agreed on $1,500 in restitution.

Bill Aims To Create Restitution For Injured Police Dogs

A bill was introduced at the State Capitol Thursday that would create a $25,000 restitution penalty for anyone convicted of seriously injuring a police dog.
