Thousands Play Hooky To Watch World Cup

The U.S. won, despite losing Thursday in the World Cup. Thomas Mueller scored the only goal as Germany beat Team USA 1-0 in Brazil. But the U.S. team still had a good enough record to advance to the next round. The USA will play on, and the Twin Cities will party on.

Duchess Of Cambridge Gives Birth To Son

Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, gave birth to a son Monday afternoon in London. According to CBS News, the new prince weighed 8 lbs., 6 oz. Kate gave birth in a private wing of St. Mary’s Hospital, the same place where Princess Diana gave birth to William and Harry.
