Most people love getting a postcard from loved ones on a trip, but it turns out bargain hunters love getting them from businesses, too. That’s how local company Printz found success in promotional postcards. And cards were just the beginning.
Shopping at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport is taking off with consumers, and one small business saw an opportunity to take their own business to new heights. St. Croix Promotions and Retail now has five stores at MSP, all with different looks and concepts for the 33 million people on the go.
Two Minnesota guys took their love for man’s best friends and turned it into a successful company. Chuck and Don’s is still expanding, more than 20 years after opening their first store. Most businesses cater to people, but this one has to also keep up with everyone’s beloved pets.

Cremps already has a store west of the Twin Cities in Dassel, but the owners have opened a new store at the Mall of America in Bloomington.
