The Minnesota Zoo is welcoming three new additions to their habitats: three baby snow monkeys. The babies were born April 17, April 20 and May 1 to mothers Yuki, Shumei and Yumoto.
North America’s oldest living male snow monkey is celebrating another year at the Minnesota Zoo. Nikko was born in September, the zoo said, making the unusually chill macaque is now 30 years old. Tropics Trail Supervisor Tom Ness said that Nikko’s calm debonair has probably helped him reach the milestone birthday.
