Troopers Respond To 174 Crashes As Snow Storm Hits Minn.

After two days with highs in the 40s, a winter storm slammed into Minnesota Thursday, bringing blizzard conditions to the southern part of the state and threatening to dump well over 10 inches of snow overnight in the eastern-most counties.

It is very common in Minnesota to see temperatures plummet as a low pressure system moves away. Our Saturday snowstorm was caused by a low pressure system that tracked across Iowa and was over Indiana by Sunday morning.
