Tommies Blog: St. Thomas Wins Again, Gets Whitewater In NCAA Semis

The St. Thomas football team can finally say it’s in unfamiliar territory. The Tommies, ranked No. 3 in the nation, advanced to the NCAA Semifinals for the first time in school history with a 45-10 win over St. John Fisher on Saturday at O’Shaughnessy Stadium in St. Paul.

The St. Thomas football team used a dominant second half to top Monmouth College (Ill.) 38-10 on Saturday in the second round of the NCAA Division III Playoffs. Their reward: Playing a team they’ve never faced.
