Teen Dies In St. Paul Police Chase

A 15-year-old boy is dead after a police chase ended Wednesday morning with a vehicle smashing into a building just south of downtown St. Paul. St. Paul Police say the crash happened at about 12:15 a.m., about 15 minutes after the chase began. Officers initiated a pursuit of a vehicle which had recently been reported stolen near the 2000 block of Suburban Avenue.

Man, 20, Faces Charges For Allegedly Abusing Girlfriend’s 2-Year-Old Daughter

A Robbinsdale man is facing child abuse charges for allegedly inflicting great bodily harm on his girlfriend’s 2-year-old daughter, according to police. Michael Angel Serrata, 20, was charged with malicious punishment of a child by Ramsey County.

VIDEO: Thieves Steal $300K In Rolex Watches From St. Paul Store

St. Paul Police are hoping you can help them identify robbers who stole hundreds of thousands of dollars in Rolex watches Saturday evening. The robbery happened at about 5 p.m. at R.F. Moeller Jeweler on Ford Parkway. Police say the thieves got away with several Rolex watches, valued at $300,000.

St. Paul Police say a squad car was involved in a crash Monday afternoon with a Metro Transit Green Line train. The crash happened just before 3 p.m. near the intersection of University Avenue and Pascal Street. Police says the officer involved in the crash was not injured.

Police: Drug Suspect In Hospital After Fleeing, Jumping Wall On I-94

St. Paul police say a suspect in a narcotics investigation is in the hospital after attempting to evade police Wednesday afternoon. Police say they were investigating a narcotics call in downtown St. Paul when the suspect took off running and jumped a wall at Wabasha Street and Interstate 94.

Pet Blog: Rally Aims To End Dog Shootings By Police

The group “Freeze Don’t Shoot” plans to hold a rally at every state capitol Saturday to highlight officer-involved shootings of family pets. The Minnesota chapter was formed in July. Julie Whalen, the administrator of the Minnesota Facebook page, says the local group has about 130 members, and about 50 plan to attend Saturday afternoon’s rally in St. Paul to address what they call an “epidemic” of shootings.

Minnesota Still Investigating 3 Priest Abuse Cases

A Minnesota prosecutor says he won’t file criminal charges in seven cases of alleged sexual misconduct involving eight Catholic priests, but St. Paul police are investigating three other cases. Ramsey County Attorney John Choi says that one of the three still under investigation is likely to lead to prosecution, without giving details.

Police: 3 Stabbed At St. Paul Apartment, Man In Custody

Authorities said three people suffered non-life threatening injuries and a man is in custody after a domestic dispute led to a triple stabbing in St. Paul early Tuesday morning. St. Paul Police were called to a report of a fight between a man and a woman at about 12:15 a.m. at an apartment on the 400 block of Fry Street.

Body Shop Loses Police Account After Alleged Speeding In Squad Cars

The owner of an auto shop said the incident that led him to fire an employee was blown out of proportion. The Roseville Police Department used Suburban Auto Body to fix their cars. That four-month relationship ended a week ago when employees were accused of speeding in the patrol cars.
