Cell Phones Have Made Stalking Easier, Scarier

Some 6.6 million people are stalked in this country each year, and that number has doubled in the last three years. Experts say something many of us own has contributed to the increase, and they are making stalking easier: cell phones. Our calls, texts, emails and apps can all be accessed if a stalker has your phone for five minutes. It’s something that happened to an Anoka County woman.

A school principal in central Minnesota has been arrested early Sunday morning. Christopher Grote, the principal at Cambridge Primary School in Cambridge, was booked on suspicion of disorderly conduct, public nuisance, stalking and fleeing a peace officer, according to Isanti County Jail records.

Police: Man Arrested For Indecent Exposure, Window Peeking Spree

A St. Cloud man was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of 25 different incidents involving indecent exposure and window peeking. The St. Cloud Police Department says 33-year-old Kevin James Petroske was taken into custody at noon after a month-long investigation.

Man Pleads Guilty To Filming Boys Changing At Local YMCAs

A Coon Rapids, Minn. man pleaded guilty this week to stalking a minor with sexual or aggressive intent after he allegedly filmed boys changing clothes at the Andover YMCA, according to the Anoka County Attorney’s office. Robert Dennis Minor, 54, was also charged in March 2013 with four counts of possession of pornographic work involving minors and two counts of use of minors in a sexual performance.
