The only American hearing supplier is a major employer in the Twin Cities. The company operates out of Eden Prairie, as does the foundation — which fits people around the world with free hearing aids. The foundation’s star-studded fundraiser is Sunday, with Katy Perry headlining.
Former President George W. Bush and pop star Katy Perry will headline this year’s Starkey Hearing Foundation awards gala in St. Paul. Bush will be honored for working with the foundation to give customized hearing devices to 222 people in Tanzania.
The smiles said it all. Savannah Andersen, 3, beamed a 500-watt glow as she had her devices fitted.
