State Hockey Tournament
The Minnesota high school hockey season wrapped up Saturday with one of the most exciting tournaments in recent memory and two champions being crowned at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
Minnesota hockey coaches and officials say temporary rules adopted to make the youth game safer do more good than harm and should be made permanent.
It’s a sports fan’s favorite time of the year. The state boys hockey tournament is in full swing, the boys basketball section playoffs are underway and the NCAA tournament is just around the corner.
Jack Jablonski’s teammates at Benilde-St. Margaret’s took the ice at the Xcel Energy Center to start what they hope is a deep state run in his honor.
If you like high school hockey, the Xcel Energy Center is the place to be this week. One of the great events every year in prep sports is the boys state hockey tournament. This year might be one of the best ever.
It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to make it to the State Hockey Tournament and family support doesn’t hurt either. Especially when you’re getting that support on the ice.
