In just two weeks, the Minnesota State Fair opens. In other words: while warm weather can go into the fall, the official end of summer isn’t far away. Time to enjoy some patio and/or rooftop dining! The warm up has started, and it seems, at long last, spring has arrived. Now many businesses across the Twin Cities are not wasting any time taking advantage of it.
Perhaps the easiest and one of the most relaxing escapes from the twin cities’ hustle and bustle is to hop in the car and go for a drive. Thankfully, Minnesota is blessed with some beautiful areas close to, and even inside of, the 494/694 loop that are well worth a visit. These are the most fun, scenic options the area has to offer.

After months and months of long, winter days, when the weather finally perks up Minnesotans are the first to head outside and take advantage.
Happy hours are great time to socialize with co-workers, meet up with friends or just enjoy some food and drinks on the cheap. Plenty of restaurants offer happy hours, but not all are a good value.
During the summer, one of the things I most enjoy in Uptown is hitting up a nice happy hour on Sunday and just letting the day go by. I find it quite relaxing!
