Fmr. Sheriff’s Deputy Arrested In Connection With Fitchburg Double Homicide

A former sheriff’s deputy in Wisconsin is accused of killing his wife and her sister, both of whom grew up in Stillwater. Ashlee Steele, 39, of Fitchburg, Wisconsin, and her sister, Kacee Tollefsbol, 38, of Lake Elmo, were found shot to death inside Steele’s home on Friday.

Good Question: Can Kids Play Three Sports Anymore?

Caroline Schelquist, a junior at Minnetonka High School, plays basketball and volleyball. “In my off-season, I play on an A.A.U. basketball team and on a J.O. volleyball,” Schelquist said. Minnetonka senior Josh Dalki plays football and baseball. He stopped basketball after the 8th grade. “I either play winter baseball or we obviously train a lot for football,” Dalki said.

Zach Sobiech’s Parents Reflect As His Stillwater Classmates Graduate

Stillwater High School’s Class of 2013 walked the stage at Roy Wilkins Auditorium in downtown St. Paul to receive their diplomas Saturday night without one of its brightest stars. Zach Sobiech was diagnosed with a deadly form of bone cancer. Through his positive outlook, he tried to live life as normal as possible. Sadly, Zach died two weeks before graduation.
