A man has been hospitalized after being rescued from a submerged car in St. Louis Bay in Duluth Saturday morning.
Police say the driver found dead in a car that plunged down an embankment and broke through the ice on a La Crosse creek was a student at Winona State University.
Authorities in La Crosse, Wis., said the body of a 21-year-old Winona State University student was found Wednesday after her car went through the ice in a creek. Police and fire departments in La Crosse were called to an accident at about 1:27 a.m. Wednesday, New Year’s Day, after a report of a vehicle in the water in Swift Creek.
