Lawyer: Adrian Peterson Should Plead ‘Not Guilty’

Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson is expected in court Wednesday to face child abuse charges stemming from an incident in May. Peterson’s lawyer said Tuesday, if a judge asks him for a plea, it will be not guilty.

Lakeville Man Arrested In 31-Year-Old Murder Case

A 53-year-old Lakeville man has been arrested in connection to a 31-year-old murder case that happened in Denton, TX, according to police. On Sept. 30, 1983, 42-year-old Francisco Narvaez of San Antonio was found dead in a local motel. Denton Police investigated, but tips and leads went cold.

U Of Minn. Solar Car Places 2nd In 1,700-Mile Race

For the racers in the American Solar Challenge, just finishing the course is a major accomplishment. The race started in Austin, Texas, last Monday. After eight days on the road, and 1,700 miles through 7 states, the University of Michigan racer crossed the finish line in Minnesota first. The University of Minnesota team finished second.

A Dallas-area man has pleaded guilty to fraud in a $5 million staged traffic accident scheme since 2005. Prosecutors in Dallas say 61-year-old Leroy Nelson of DeSoto pleaded guilty to mail fraud and to engaging in illegal monetary transactions.

Former Bemidji Woman Spins ‘Wheel Of Fortune’

A former Minnesota woman tried her hand at “Wheel of Fortune” Thursday night, with some fortunate results. Katie Hoody used to live in Bemidji, but now lives in Texas. NDSU Beats Towson 35-7 For 3rd Straight FCS Title
