Officials at the University of Minnesota issued a crime alert Monday after a student was robbed at gun point on Sunday. According to University Police, the student says a man pulled out a gun and demanded their laptop computer at the Carlson School of Management, which is on the West Bank Campus. The student yelled for help and started chasing the robber, who ended up dropping the laptop during the chase.
University of Minnesota officials say the search for a suspected gunman is complete — and there is no further need for students and staff on campus to take shelter. The university released a campus alert after someone spotted a man suspected of carrying a gun in a classroom building.
