Manage the sales process related to the new and incremental business opportunities for WCCO and establish strategic partnerships with traditional and non-traditional advertisers.
WCCO-TV is looking for an enthusiastic Community Relations Manager to coordinate, organize and lead the efforts to represent WCCO favorably in the community. This person will oversee communication activities including: managing press and public relations correspondence, publicizing WCCO initiatives and serving as the station spokesperson in developing relationships within the community.
Master control operator responsible for maintaining WCCO’s on-air programming.
TD/Direct using ROSS OverDrive automation for live newscasts and other productions. This position also requires operation of robotic cameras and running news audio.
WCCO-TV’s Internship Program is designed to provide experience for students pursuing careers in television broadcasting. Interns have the opportunity to shadow our staff to learn more about the TV business including broadcast news & sports, communications/PR, graphic design and video production, editing and promotion.
This person writes, produces and edits on-air station promotional spots. Whether topical or image, these promos are to further the marketing strategies of the television station.
