TD/Direct using ROSS OverDrive automation for live newscasts and other productions. This position also requires operation of robotic cameras and running news audio.
WCCO-TV’s Internship Program is designed to provide experience for students pursuing careers in television broadcasting. Interns have the opportunity to shadow our staff to learn more about the TV business including broadcast news & sports, communications/PR, graphic design and video production, editing and promotion.
Aggressively manage and publish updated news stories, video and slideshows, concentrating on developing stories and breaking news.
This person writes, produces and edits on-air station promotional spots. Whether topical or image, these promos are to further the marketing strategies of the television station.
Coordinates, organizes and leads efforts to represent WCCO favorably in the community. Oversees communication activities including: managing press and public relations correspondence, publicizing WCCO initiatives and serving as the station spokesperson in developing relationships within the community.
Sell television time, online and new media for WCCO-TV and WCCO.com. Generate revenue with new accounts by prospecting local businesses in the Minneapolis/St. Paul DMA.
Maintain, repair and install all technical equipment.
