Two men suspected of stealing checks, cash and gift cards from wedding receptions in the north metro have been charged with theft. Derrick Duane Manson, 41, and Aaron Ray Martin, 40, both face one felony count of theft, according to documents filed in Anoka County. If convicted, the accused could face a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison and/or a $20,000 fine.
Police know who they are looking for, but just haven’t found them yet. Three people are believed to have stolen the card boxes from two different wedding receptions.
