Lynx G Maya Moore Earns Weekly WNBA Honor

Despite losing two of their past three games, the Minnesota Lynx is still getting nation attention with WNBA weekly awards. Guard Maya Moore was selected Monday as the WNBA’s Western Conference Player of the Week for her efforts from Aug. 5-11.

Lynx’s Brunson Earns Weekly WNBA Honor

The WNBA announced Tuesday it named Rebekkah Brunson of the Minnesota Lynx its Western Conference Player of the Week. Brunson helped lead the Lynx to a 1-1 week, where she had 21 points and 17 rebounds in an 85-80 loss to the Washington Mystics.
